Our Approach

Dtr Architects was established in 2004.  We work for both private clients, commercial developers and social landlords in London and the Home Counties.

In our experience, each project is genuinely different, and we believe that good communication with our clients, and with all other consultants and bodies involved is key to a successful result. We approach each project with an enthusiasm to create buildings and spaces that respond to unique circumstances, and with a commitment to provide the best possible solution,  regardless of size or budget.

We do not have a pre-determined architectural style, instead, we prefer to work closely with clients to understand their requirements and fully explore the potential of any scheme. In addition, our designs respond directly to the site and its context resulting in proposals that are highly individual and bespoke.

Our Services

Our services range from initial site inspection and sketch design stage through to preparing and submitting planning applications, building control applications, working drawings, preparation of tender documentation and administering contracts on site. In addition we have  experience and expertise in the following: Party Wall matters, Planning appeals, Utilities Agreements, Thames Water Approvals, Crossover Agreements, etc.

Over the years we have established good contacts with a range of other consultants, including structural engineers, surveyors, contractors, energy assessment professionals, and building suppliers. If required, we can assemble a complete team of independent consultants, or provide contacts to fill specific roles.

Please feel free to contact us to discuss any requirements and ideas you may have. We are more than happy to visit sites for a no charge and no obligation initial  consultation.
